The Company
Founded in 1945, Grupo Bimbo is the world’s largest baking company and one of the leading producers of consumer packaged foods. Operating in more than 30 countries with a broad portfolio of brands, the company reaches millions of consumers every day through an extensive manufacturing, distribution, and commercial network. As a global leader in the food industry, Grupo Bimbo continues to advance its digital transformation strategy by optimizing operations, strengthening consumer relationships, and delivering consistent experiences across its digital channels. The company continuously invests in modernizing its platforms, leveraging data, and driving innovation to accelerate brand growth and improve business performance.
The Challenge
The organization launched a transformation initiative to foster a more agile culture and strengthen its execution capabilities. Its primary objectives included improving value chain coordination, reducing the time required to implement strategic initiatives, and enhancing product quality to reinforce its leadership in the cookie market. Achieving these goals required aligning business areas around a new way of working that encouraged collaboration and continuous value delivery.
The Solution
We designed and implemented a comprehensive cultural transformation strategy based on Agile principles, combining consulting, continuous improvement, training, coaching, and hands-on operational support. We worked alongside business and technology teams to redesign processes, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and promote an approach focused on early value delivery. Through a pilot initiative with continuous monitoring and iterative reviews, we enabled the adoption of new ways of working and supported the sustainable evolution of the operating model.
